In the #bookofhopi I explain to you that the easiest way to find a consistent trade plan is to use the optimal PO3 dealing range (OPO3DR). This is the range you want to use regardless if you are a scalper, day trader or short term trader.

Sure, you can zoom in and go for a lower PO3 dealing range than the chart tells you, but I see a lot of people fail from this point onwards.
There will be "too many lines", and traders either get the direction incorrect, or get analysis paralysis.

In order to find the optimal dealing range, we're using a "triple screen" methodology:

Find the overall picture on the monthly and weekly chart, this will be your highest PO3 dealing range
Refine on the daily and 4H chart. This will be 1 PO3 range less then step 1. eg if you find the PO3 DR to be 6561 on step 1, you will use the 2187 here
do your analysis and trades on the PO3-2 range, 729 in this case

Let's take the GBPUSD example here

First we're going to look for the overall picture on the monthly chart. We can see that the 6561 range is providing accurate rejection points. You can see perfect reactions from the levels, and you can see the bodies close at the levels as well.
You want to use this chart with the seasonal tendencies for your asset, GBPUSD n this case.
If you are a long term or position trader, you can use this chart for a couple of trades (quarter in line with seasonal tendencies).

Next up is the Weekly or daily chart. We go down (range contraction) 1 PO3 size, and end up with the 2187 range.

You can see that the non Goldbach levels are being respected, you an see big swings starting from the Goldbach levels, the mean threshold / consequent encroachment of the Goldbach zones are being respected,
This would be ideal to fine tune your position trader, or take a couple of shorter term trades (1-2 per month)

Last part is to go down once more a PO3 dealing range, and we end up using the 729 range.
This is the range you want to be using to either scalp or day trade.
All in line with the quarterly and monthly outlook you've found on step 1 and 2

Read up on the non Goldbach levels, and understand that the non GB levels are a CE level of the larger partitions (the liquidity void and breaker zones), but they actually have a CE level as well.
This means a large (12%) zone, can be split in quadrants (4 equal parts).

When you arrive at the number in step 3, your 15 minute chart should have not "too many lines" , but also not have "too little lines".
The latter will not render trade ideas, the first will either let you make mistakes, or give you "analysis paralysis".

Typically you want to see 2 or 3 reactions per day using the optimal dealing range, no more (unless it's FOMC, NFP, CPI, ..), and nothing less.
